If possible, friends stick together through thick and thin and always will stick up for you. There are only certain things that you can tell others!
Be fair towards your friends. Many times we unfairly judge another person by the things they say or their views and don't show them the respect they deserve. Be sensitive to their thoughts and feelings. Just as you would want others to show some sensitivity toward the things you feel strongest about, you must do the same to others.
"It has come to my attention..." "It doesn't matter why friends say horrible things about you behind your back; I simply know it is unacceptable..." "While I have enjoyed the friendship with certain people up to a point, the friendship will be over."
Allow the past to be the past and talking behind friend’s backs will only make things worse.
I personally can tell you that what you think about and speak about your friends can manifest itself into your life. So yes we must choose our words and thoughts wisely about our friends.
Keep everything between you and your friend, rather than telling other people. Put yourself in the other person's shoes. Would you have done the same thing?
Remember why you are friends in the first place. Don't allow one fight ruin it all.
In my books some friends never learn and I will, be kind, but will never go back. Regardless of what the other person did, they must never do it again and they must fix it up, in the way you want it to be fixed, not their way!
My beliefs...
"People never know how special someone is until they are sacked as a friend, but maybe sometimes it’s important to leave them, so they are given that chance to see how special that someone really is!"
"Friends never make assumptions about you. They never expect a reason to go out with you. In fact friends only expect you to be you and always will stick up for you!"
True friends are the people who brighten your smile every time you’re with them and will always say nice things about you no matter what"
"Friends stand beside each other through thick and thin, every time you need me I will always be there. You just have to stick up for me always like I would do in return; you will then be my best friend I could ever have.
